So now it is June, the commencement of another school year. I know that the students are excited and are looking forward to the last day of school; however, teaching and learning are still occurring.  Our schools will be busy with end of the year assessments, recognitions, and celebrations. Some of these exciting events include Junior National Honor Society Inductions, County Academic Excellence Recognition, 8th Grade Awards, Senior Awards, Student-Athlete Signing Day, and of course graduation. Our school district recognizes the hard work and dedication that our students and teachers have put forth this school year and is very proud of their accomplishments.

This year's Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2018 will take place on June 21, 2018 at 5:10 at the Silver Eagle Stadium at the Bruce Wolhrab Athletic Complex located at the High School. Please note the new time schedule for this year's event; all senior parents will receive more information regarding graduation. Most of the parking will be off campus and guests will be shuttled to the high school from the Alder or Fernwood Middle Schools courtesy of our Egg Harbor Township Transportation Department. The planning of this prestigious event involves the collaboration of many school and community entities and we are grateful for their service. We are very proud of our Egg Harbor Township Commencement Ceremony and look forward to a wonderful celebration of our  senior students who have earned an education from our outstanding school district. I look forward to handing diplomas to the Class of 2018 and wishing them well in their future endeavors.

Project Graduation 2018 will follow our commencement ceremony. This extraordinary event is in its 25th year and could not occur without the interests and efforts of parents and community members who name a theme and fill the evening with activities, games, food, and FUN for graduates and their guests! While we are very grateful for the work that has been done preparing for this night, there is an immediate need for volunteers to assist with facilitating the event. Please consider coming out to join us! We encourage senior parents to share the fun with their child and undergraduate parents to come see what’s in store for your child. Please contact Sonia at or call 609-204-6993.

Best wishes to our students, teachers, and administrators for a fantastic last few weeks of the 2017-18 school year!

Good Luck to the Class of 2018! Pursue Happiness - Follow your Dreams- Be the Change- Make a Difference!

Always remember the Egg Harbor Township Schools as your foundation and know that you and your family are always welcome here.
