This summer’s enrichment program, Fun in the Sun, will operate Monday through Thursday, starting June 24th and ending August 15th at the Dr. Joyanne D. Miller Elementary School. This Fun in the Sun experience will include breakfast, lunch and weekly field trips. Please see information below for camp day options, prices, and field trip information:

Camp Day Options Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays:

AM Extended: 7:00 am to 8:00 am- $3

Full Day: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm- $40

AM ½ Day: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm- $25

PM ½ Day: 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm- $25

PM Extended: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm- $5


 *there will be a $25 (non-refundable) registration fee due at the time of registration.

Thursday Field Trips:

Full Day option ONLY- $60, camper must attend offsite field trip if registered on Thursdays.

Participating in ASPIRE this summer?
Join Fun in the Sun at 1:30 pm when ASPIRE ends at a prorated price of $15 per day!  ASPIRE students will be escorted between ASPIRE and Fun in the SUN by caring and nurturing staff for an extended day of Fun in the Sun.  

    **Prices cover enrichment activities, supplies and materials, bus transportation, event admission, food and water, and staff coverage for all days of camp.

Meal Information:
Students will be provided with breakfast and lunch at no additional cost to their families each day of camp. Campers may bring their own bag lunch if preferred.  Afternoon snacks will also be served.

Enrichment Activities:
The Fun in the Sun theme is Avatar: The Last Airbender. Students will explore STEM related subjects of Earth, Air, Water, Fire, Ice, Sun/Moon, Magnets and Electricity. The goal for summer enrichment is to keep students engaged by “sneaking” in the learning and sandwiching it with FUN! Each week students will participate in Arts and Crafts, Music, Coding, Organized Recreation and so much more. Other activities may include,  yping practice, reading enrichment activities, science and nature exploration, gardening, composting,  team and character building games just to name a few.
