Superintendent's Update

Dear School Community,

Welcome to the month of May—a time of renewal, growth, and the beauty of spring all around us. With blooming flowers, warmer sunshine, and longer days, May reminds us of the positive energy and fresh opportunities that come with this season.

This month also brings many meaningful recognitions and celebrations. We honor Mother’s Day, recognizing the love, care, and dedication of mothers and caregivers. We celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, a special time to recognize the incredible work our educators do each day to inspire, guide, and support students. We also celebrate our school nurses who are always there for everyone with open arms.

May is also Mental Health Awareness Month, reminding us of the importance of wellness, balance, kindness, and supporting one another. Please take time this month to care for yourselves and those around you.

We also recognize National Military Appreciation Month, honoring the brave men and women who serve and have served our country, along with the families who support them.

Finally, May is National Bike Month, encouraging healthy activity, safety, time outdoors, and enjoying the benefits of movement and recreation.

As we move through this busy and exciting time of year, I want to thank the faculty and staff for all that you do for our students and school community. Your dedication, compassion, and hard work continue to make a lasting difference each day.

Let us keep focused on student achievement throughout the month.

Warm regards,

Dr. Gruccio

Policy 5516- Personal Internet Enabled Devices

As we begin the new school year, we would like to take a moment to remind the school community of our district’s no cell phone policy during the school day. This decision was made with one clear purpose: to keep our students focused on learning, socializing face-to-face, and fully engaging in the classroom experience.
