Superintendent's Update

Dear EHT Families and Staff,

Welcome to November! As a reminder, Fall Break is November 2–8, and schools will reopen on Monday, November 9. I hope everyone enjoys a restful and enjoyable break with family and friends.

This month, we will honor our veterans through classroom lessons, breakfasts with veterans, and guest speakers who will help students understand the sacrifices made by those who have served our country. We are grateful for their service and commitment to our freedom.

Our November character education theme is Gratitude -“Grateful Eagles, Giving Hearts.” Gratitude is more than saying thank you; it is recognizing and appreciating the people and opportunities that enrich our lives. I encourage all of us to express gratitude with grace and passion, remembering that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference.

As we enter the second third of the school year, winter sports practices will begin, bringing new opportunities for teamwork, perseverance, and school pride. I am especially grateful for the opportunity that this school district has to educate your children and for the continued partnership of our families, staff, and community.

Let us continue to embrace, engage, and educate while leading with grateful hearts and demonstrating #EHTPride every day!

Enjoy Fall Break, and have a wonderful November!

Yours in Education,

Dr. Gruccio, Superintendent of Schools
